The latest ad running for Chanel Perfume. One thing I’ve always appreciated as a viewer of Chanel Ads is the attention to detail they give. Along with the architecture, the settings and story line. Chanel always does a great job of advertising their product because they focus on the art of it and not just their demographic. Each ad seems similar in some respect, a beautiful leading lady, surrounded by men trying to get their attention. The catch is, the woman always ends up doing it her way. Sophisticated, Elegant, and Powerful. 

Great Soundtracks are also to be noted. Joss Stone definitely supplied a great note on this one. 

M.I.A. -Bad Girls

Easily the VIDEO OF THE YEAR.

M.I.A is on another planet when it comes to her creativity. Her music, her videos, look and sound just transcend anything in music since she’s been out. I don’t think many people truly appreciate how creative and dope she actually is. 

I hope she continues to stay in her own lane and make ART cause that’s exactly what she’s doing. Creating a product that will continue on forever, long after she’s gone. 

Definitely one of the illest to ever do it …

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Opening Credits)

I have yet to see the new American Version of the popular Swedish bestseller and Masterpiece because of my skepticism. From what I’ve heard it’s incredible, helps that lead actress Rooney Mara is nominated for an Oscar in the category of Best Actress.

If the movie resembles anything close to the visuals the opening credits I will definitely be seeing this movie soon. The visuals are nothing short of innovative, breathtaking and explosive. It’s borderline visual orgasm.

Big K.R.I.T. ft. 8Ball & MJG and 2Chainz 

This video takes me back to the days when music had that good feel of cruising around. I was raised on music like this from the South. That classic H-Town and Memphis sounds from Ball and MJG.

“Luck be a Lady” directed by Anthony Mandler 

Starring Ciroc Vodka and many others

This short video is nothing short of incredible. It depicts a lifestyle that I hope one day to enjoy. The cinematography and detail in this movie makes you truly appreciate the experiences and joy that life brings. You could pause any moment of this video and be in sheer awe of the still Mandler captures. You can hate on Diddy if you like, but this is a man who truly knows the meaning of working hard and playing hard. When you put in work you deserve to reward yourself. I wasn’t planning on partying this NYE, but i just re-evaluated that idea.
